For a dedicated equipment component, start with its maker, full type and the available part reference. A general description such as “piston” or “valve” may describe several different items. Photos and manual references help clarify which one is requested; they do not establish interchangeability on their own.

Standard components
For a standard component, provide the full designation or a dimensional specification. Depending on the item, material, thread, connection, sealing arrangement or operating conditions may also matter. A requested brand can be listed as a preference without replacing the technical description.

Drawing-based or unmarked parts
Send the drawing revision and the dimensions you can verify. Include an overall view and a closer view of connections or markings. State whether the drawing is complete or only a reference sketch. Manufacturing feasibility and the final agreed specification should be checked before an order is placed.
